Family vacations and help to sick kids
A family vacation can be a great way to spend time together and create lasting memories. However, for families whose children are battling illnesses, a vacation can be a difficult and expensive ordeal. That's why a number of organizations have created programs that help donate money to help fund these families' trips. One such organization is Kids Wish Network. This group helps families with children who are either fighting a life-threatening illness or who have a physical disability. They offer a variety of services, including granting the child's wish, such as a trip to Disney World, and providing financial assistance for the family. Another great resource for families traveling with sick kids is Love Hope Strength. This organization helps connect families with others who are traveling to the same destination for treatment, as well as providing a financial grant to help cover the cost of the trip. Finally, the Make-A-Wish Foundation is a well-known organization that helps grant wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. They offer a variety of programs, including travel assistance, which can help families afford to take their child on a much-needed vacation.

You don't have to be a doctor to help sick kids get better... you can do it right now!
We aim to raise around £1.5 million every year to support facilities for families, extra medical equipment, research and training and the provision of many comforts and entertainment for the young patients cared for by the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
There are five ways to make a personal one-off donation or pay in money raised at a fundraising event:

To make a quick and easy donation using your mobile, just text SKFF11 followed by the amount to 70070. eg. SKFF11 £5. Sick Kids Friends Foundation receives 100% of the donation amount, and you will not be charged a network charge, just the cost of your donation.
3. By telephone
Donation by telephone could not be easier! Contact our office on 0131 668 4949 where staff will be pleased to help you. Please remember to ask for information on Gift Aid when you call.

4. By post

You can visit our office in person to make a cash, card or cheque donation. We are open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please note that we are closed on bank holidays.
Please remember to complete the Gift Aid Declaration, then we can claim back the tax you have already paid on the amount of your gift. Under the Gift Aid scheme, charities can reclaim an extra 25% in tax on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
