eBay will now suggest a list of suitable categories based on the information you have typed.
Right at the bottom of their list, I find they have a specific category for Hearts football shirts - perfect! Tick the box to select the category, then click the blue Continue button.
Now you can begin to fill in the details of your item. In this case, I'm pretending I have a signed Robbie Neilson shirt! The exact details that you are asked for will be different depending on what your item is. I am being asked to specify the team and size, and further down I am asked whether it is a home or away shirt, and the condition. If you were listing a book, you might be asked the printing year and the condition, if you were listing a painting you might be asked whether it was oil, watercolour etc; it really depends on what it is you are selling.
Further down you will come to a large box in which you can enter your main description of the item. Good things to mention are any sizes or measurements, the condition of the item, how you came to be in possession of it, and a sentence saying you are donating the proceeds (some or all) to the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.
In this case I have given the history of where it came from and how it came to be signed. I have also mentioned the charities involved and the exact percentages each will receive. This makes sure that everyone is clearabout the details.
