Organising your own event
Every day someone contacts us and offers to organise their own event.
These events range from garage sales, dinner dances, concerts, head shaves, karaoke, fashion shows, raffles, collections, dance or drama performances...
We are always delighted to hear of such plans and happy to provide all the support which you might want from us.
It is now a requirement of charity law that all fundraising should be authorised by the charity so it is important that you contact us as soon as you can to seek this permission and discuss your plans with us. We can provide various promotional items, some volunteers if available and lots of moral support for your planning and organising.
We also have a very useful handbook which outlines best practice, legal requirements and handy hints on all sorts of events and don't forget that your funds may also be eligible for Gift Aid!
