Fundraise
As the Sick Kids Friends Foundation receives no government funds all of our work relies on donations from the public.
Here are just some of the ways you can help us:
- through a legacy left in a will
- selling Christmas cards
- selling items from our shop
- through payroll giving
- through regular giving
- through corporate giving
- by donating shares
- by fundraising at events
- by choosing to celebrate a milestone in your life
- taking part in challenge events
- through our recycling green scheme
We raise the funds required in many ways, from applications to Trusts and Foundations, legacies which people leave to us in their wills, events which we organise from time to time, selling Christmas cards and other items in our hospital shop or online shop, payroll giving when employees pledge to give a portion of their pay every month, our regular giving programme, corporate gifts, donating shares and fundraising events organised by our supporters.
You might also choose to celebrate a milestone in your life - a christening, birthday, wedding or anniversary by asking guests to give donattions to the Sick Kids instead of presents, take part in one of our challenge events, or recycling green schemes.
Whichever you choose we will give you all the support you need either Rachel, Lucy, Linda or Susan will be your contact and they will answer any queries and ensure that you have all the materials and information you need to help Sick Kids get better.
Please remember to contact us before planning your event, as this is now a legal requirement as well as the best way to organise your fundraising!
You can contact us by phone on 0131 668 4949 or email linda.cameron@luht.scot.nhs.uk who will make sure that the person best suited to deal with your enquiry is in touch with you as soon as possible.
