The Friends and Family Cookbook has been created by a group of parents and children led by the family of one of the patients at Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Sick Children.

The latest fundraising idea was organised by Corstorphine mum-of- three, Gilly Herbert whose daughter Sophia has attended the hospital. The family, with help from their friends, have raised more than £4,000 for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation during the last two years.

Gilly asked local families and friends to write down their child's favourite recipe - all of which have now been collated into this fabulous recipe book. The children have also been involved, decorating their page with beautiful drawings.
