Visits from "Tricky Ricky" the Clown Magician provide fun and entertainment on a monthly basis. Every week Clowndoctors come to visit the children and spend time with them providing therapy through distraction, stimulation and demystification of medical processes.
Pampering and Relaxation
This £30 gift will bring relaxation to a very sick child or their worried parent.
Having a child stay in hospital can be very worrying and stressful for their parents. However, at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children great emphasis is placed on distraction through play, entertainment and relaxation. Just half an hour of relaxing therapy such as reflexology or pampering can ease the stress of difficult treatment or painful procedures and strengthen both the child and their parents for the next stage of the child's treatment.
