Where your contributions go
Your contributions help sick children and their families. We do not fund work which is financed by the NHS and we ensure that everything we do is extra to the care which is already provided.
We help with:
- extra comforts for the children
- extra child and family-friendly facilities
- extra state of the art medical equipment
- extra specialised training and research
You can specify which of the above areas you would like to support and you can also decide which of our many restricted funds you would like to benefit from your gift.
For example we have restricted or special funds which:
- relate to particular wards in the hospital like Ward 3, Ward 5
- to benefit particular conditions eg Oncology, Cardiology or Ophthalmology or
- to our funding projects such as Family Support, Drop In Centre or KIDSnet
- to projects at health facilities out with the hospital e.g. Sunndach, Forteviot or our Community Projects programme
When you chose to support us please let us know if you have a particular preference or if you are happy for the funds to help wherever we feel that children and families most need our support.
