Fundraisers get play area for Sick Kids

Nine year old Abby Young was one of the first people to try out the facilities at the new Rainbow Room at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children when it was opened recently.
The play facility at the hospital's Forteviot premises in Hope Terrace was created thanks to the memorial fund set up for Craig Gowans.
The 17-year-old was killed in 2005 just two weeks into a two-year professional apprenticeship with Falkirk football club when the metal pole of a six-metre-high net he had been asked to move came into contact with 11,000-volt wires.
