We were delighted that Nina of Nina and the Neurons and Neil McCann were able to join us on Thursday 24th September for the opening of the new Play Area and Chillout Space which we have provided at St John's in partnership with West Lothian charity River Kids.

The highly innovative design and interactive play panels and toys, combined with computer games and KIDSnet access make this a mecca for children and young people as they wait to attend outpatient clinics.

By providing £112,000 to add to the £50,000 pledged by River Kids we have been able to provide an excellent play area and also to bring all the children's clinics together in this specially provided area with its extra consultation room.

We would like to thank our many donors from West Lothian and beyond who worked so hard to raise the funds which were needed.
