FINANCE MANAGER

30 hours per week
Salary £38,000 pro rata (fixed term up to two years - based in Edinburgh)

The Sick Kids Friends Foundation believe that nothing should get in the way of being a child.  Following the development of our new three year strategy, we are delighted to offer a rare opportunity to join our growing Finance and Operations team.

As Finance Manager, you will enable the organisation to transform the experiences of children and young people by ensuring SKFF is a well governed, sustainable organisation with effective processes.  You will play a key role in supporting the Director of Finance and Operations and be responsible for the control and management of SKFF financial resources through effective budget setting, monitoring of income and expenditure (including regular reporting and preparation of accounts) and general funds management and cash flow.  We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional with a passion for the rights of children and young people.

The Sick Kids Friends Foundation supports the vital work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children through its grant giving programme.  As we look to move to the new children’s hospital due to open in early 2018, this is an extremely exciting time to be a part of an organisation that will enhance the hospital experience for future generations of children and young people.

To apply please download the recruitment pack below and send your completed application form to sickkidsfriends@luht.scot.nhs.uk.  The closing date for applications is 24 April 2017 (noon).
Interview date is 3 May 2017.
