We have a small but highly focused staff team who look after the fundraising, projects and administration of the charity.
A little about what we do
Roslyn, our Chief Executive, leads the staff team to implement SKFF’s organisational strategy and its associated actions. Roslyn reports to the Trustees and manages SKFF’s relationship with NHS Lothian. She is happy to give advice to applicants considering applying to SKFF for funds.
Alison is PA to the Chief Executive as well as being responsible for maintaining our grant application system, our online shop and Christmas card operation.
Rachel is Director of Fundraising and Marketing. She provides inspirational leadership to the fundraising and marketing team, enabling them to meet income and awareness targets, and help transform the experiences of children and young people in the hospital and beyond.
Sue manages the Community Team and their work and is also responsible for individual giving, legacies and volunteers.
Susan is our Partnerships Manager. She looks after relationships with trusts, foundations and major donors as well as managing SKFF's corporate and events fundraising.
Amy is our Community Fundraiser responsible for managing our exciting calendar of sports challenges events and supporting SKFF participants.
Vicki is one of our Community Fundraisers. She is responsible for providing support to people fundraising in the community on behalf of SKFF. She also manages volunteers who run our programme of visits to schools and nurseries.
Clare is our Marketing Coordinator. She helps to manage social media, website content and any published materials, including our 'Friends' magazine.
Mike, Finance Manager (Management and Control), is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects for the charity.
Nicola is our Finance Manager (Strategic Development) and works with Mike on the charity's financial matters, specifically focusing on strategy, budgeting and reporting.
Amy is our Corporate and Trusts Fundraiser. She is responsible for building relationships and partnerships with our network of corporate contacts across Edinburgh and beyond, and supporting businesses in their volunteering and fundraising for SKFF.
Andrew is our Fundraising Data Coordinator and looks after our database, IT and data protection compliance.
As our Fundraising Team Assistant, Aby provides administrative support to the wider team and is responsible for processing and banking donations as well as being the first point of contact for SKFF supporters.
Sarah is our Finance Assistant. Her role supports the Finance Managers Mike and Nicola with running SKFF's financial affairs.
Fiona is our Arts Programme Manager. She works with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver an entertaining and diverse calendar of arts, activities and visits for the children and young people in hospital.
